What does it cost?

It depends on the matter and whether legal aid applies. You see concrete details in the flow inside the app – this website is a guide, not a shop.

Is LWYRUP a law firm?

No. LWYRUP connects you with specialised firms and provides the secure, confidential communication channel. Legal advice is given by the firm.

How does sign-in work without password risk?

Via a digital key pair: the private key stays on your device, the public one is held by LWYRUP. Sign-in is a cryptographic challenge – no secret is transmitted that could be leaked or phished. Details under Security.

What if I change my device?

You save your key as a QR code and scan it on the new device. Treat the QR code like cash.

Where is my data processed?

Exclusively within the EU.

Do I need to install the app?

Yes. The key – and therefore the actual process – lives in the app. The website informs and guides you there, including via QR code, e.g. at a law firm.
